Dear Nicola and Adrian
Just back from holiday to hear your shocking news. You must be wondering how this could happen to you so young and healthy. I suppose the only good thing is that these days breast cancer is treatable and curable and you seem to be getting all the right investigations and management. You also seem to have a good team of mates around you to support you both and I know that you have a wonderful family. We are such a long way away and wish that we could do something practical to help. However dial-a-doc is always on the other end of a phone 0141 942 2196 and 07799 136636. I do not pretend to have all the answers and realise that you will have contacts to your hospital team and local GP but I am always happy to talk and listen. Wishing you all the very best over these next difficult months and treatments, it will be worth it in the end.
